Modern Website Showcases Alumni Connections.

Georgia Tech’s Alumni Association needed a digital presence that matched the energy of its dedicated alumni community. The old site lacked modern design, flexible CMS options, and an intuitive structure, making it difficult to highlight regional networks, travel opportunities, and key events.

Beacon delivered a complete redesign by streamlining navigation, designing flexible page templates, and handling both front-end and CMS development. Unique design elements, such as hexagons that create a hive effect and a friendly mascot footer, tie Georgia Tech’s spirited brand identity into the site, while flexible content blocks make it easy to spotlight events and travel experiences.

The Alumni Association can now promote global travel opportunities, networking events, and community stories in an engaging way that keeps Yellow Jacket pride and connection alive.

Restructured site hierarchy to simplify navigation, align content with best practices, and eliminate unnecessary pages. The result was a simplified website that enables the audience to find information more quickly and easily.

Implemented a hybrid navigation system to serve the diverse audience of GA Tech Alumni, offering both quick-access links and a comprehensive browsing menu. This approach created a better user experience across devices, ensuring easy navigation on both desktop and mobile.

Designed three custom templates tailored to the unique needs of GA Tech's Alumni Association. Each page template emphasized news, events, and sponsor visibility, creating an experience that reflects the community's values and opportunities.
