GSO: Proehlific Park Website Launched
Beacon is proud to announce the launch of the new Proehlific Park web site, www.proehlificpark.com. As Proehlific Park is being constructed and the business ramps up, a professional website was needed to not only represent the quality of the entire business, but to also effectively communicate the mission, services and construction progress. The site was also designed to easily facilitate future upgrades to the site that include online registration, signups for leagues and instruction, payment and scheduling.
Beacon was selected because of its long reputation for providing quality IT services. The new site incorporates state-of-the-art graphic design, video, and navigation that makes it easy to find information about instructors, sports, facilities, and memberships. “On the surface, it seems straight-forward, but when you consider the many facets of Proehlific Park, the layout of the site is critical,” says Tracy Dirks, Beacon’s Director of Software Development. “The design needs to consider all the sports, the wide variety of facilities, the many teams that will be playing out of the facility, coupled with the news and events that constantly need to be published to Proehlific’s customers.”
The site was developed under Beacon’s content management solution, Cascade Server. Beacon also hosts the website at the Time Warner co-location facility and provides search engine marketing. “As a startup company and given the magnitude of the effort to get the new facility up and running, Beacon was selected because we could work with one local company for all of our internet needs, including some help with our desktop computers,” says Mike Pratapas, Proehlific Park’s president. “I could count on them to do it right the first time.”
