33 Sites Launched for Int'l Furniture Co.

Beacon announces that it has completed the implementation of 33 retail sites for a very well known furniture manufacturer in Virginia. The company approached Beacon to facilitate consistent branding & simplify site management across all of its national retail sites. “Beacon’s CMS solution was the perfect choice, but it’s certainly quite an undertaking to convert this many sites, particularly when most were owned and managed by the individual retail stores,” says Cherryl Gilmore, Beacon’s Sr. Project Manager. “We worked with the client closely to develop a sound prototype for the web site, then worked with corporate and the individual locations to get all sites transitioned in less than 60 days.” Beacon also performs search engine marketing, search engine optimization, and paid placement for this client. Since starting their search engine marketing program in August 2005, qualified traffic from search engines has grown by nearly 50% which has captured the attention of prominent furniture trade magazines.
