RaceFanFurniture.com - Holiday sales up 450%

Following the trend with other online retail businesses, Beacon’s RaceFanFurniture.com site saw tremendous growth this past holiday season, increasing sales by nearly 450% from the previous year. “In 2004, we were really just ‘testing the waters’ and after seeing the demand, we have executed a good business plan throughout 2005 to grow the business,” says Mark Dirks, Beacon’s President. “During the holidays, it’s all about customer service, managing your inventory and driving online shoppers to an easy-to-use site. We hired staff specifically to help customers and work closely with our vendors. And of course, our search engine marketing team did a great job of flooding the site with anxious buyers!”.

RaceFanFurniture.com sells authorized NASCAR furniture, apparel, home furnishings and other items. Dan Zerbs, Race Fan Furniture’s Store Manager, says “Much of our on-hand inventory was depleted fairly early in the season, so we worked closely with our vendors and our customers to make sure deliveries were prompt. We were covered up with orders right through December 23rd and the nice thing is that the demand had continued through January as we approach the start of the 2006 NASCAR season!”

Race Fan Furniture is already planning for more growth in 2006 with an expanded product line, additional warehousing and system improvements to further expedite order processing and shipping.
