Beacon selected to build eGMC & eNissan sites

June 2005

Beacon Technologies announces that it has been contracted to design and develop the eGMC.com and eNissan.com web sites. Beacon will also provide managed hosting services for both sites at the Time Warner Telecom co-location facility in Greensboro.

“We are very excited about this project because it utilizes our entire collection of technical services,” says Patrick Flanagan, Beacon’s Senior Account Executive. “Many companies are looking for an IT Partner that can effectively integrate strong & creative web design principles, proven ecommerce functionality, efficient systems integration and highly effective search engine marketing services. This is exactly what Beacon does best.”

The new sites will not only provide online car buyers with the ability to easily purchase new cars, but it will integrate tightly with Chrome Data Systems to ensure all features and pricing are current, AND it will connect directly into Kelly Blue Book to facilitate trade-ins. “Basically, the customer will have a simple shopping experience, while underneath the site, Beacon will build the software to connect the customer with Chrome, Kelly Blue Book, and the sales representative,” says Flanagan. The site is expected to be operational in August 2005.
