Beacon Wins Genomics RFP for Duke, UNCG, Moses Cone
Beacon Technologies announces that it has been selected by a consortium from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, Duke University and Moses Cone Hospital to develop a new website to support the Guilford Genomics Initiative. Funded by a federal grant, the site will contain resources for providers, information on pilot diseases, information on how to get involved, resources for educators, clinic resources and much more.
The project will engage Beacon’s proven software development methodology to produce a custom-designed web site that runs under content management software. The site is expected to be launched during the 4th quarter and will be hosted by Beacon at Time Warner’s state-of-the-art co-location hosting facility in Greensboro. “This is another great match with our content management solution. It will allow the site to be administered easily by the people who own and disseminate the information, plus it supports the long-term planned growth,” says Patrick Flanagan, Beacon’s Senior Account Executive for this project. “Our reputation for delivering quality has made it easy for clients to select and depend on Beacon.”
