Beacon Attends Web Master World SEO Conference

November 2004

Beacon attended WebmasterWorld.com’s World Search Conference #7 last week, held at the Convention Center in Las Vegas, NV. Nearly 2000 search engine marketing professionals came together to share, discuss, and learn more about this fast-growing industry, the newest techniques, trends, and strategies. In addition, attendees were able to meet firsthand with experts from major search companies like Yahoo and Google. With three days of sessions on topics such as natural SEO, pay-per-click marketing, web analytics, affiliate programs, shopping engines, blogs, search engine friendly design, local search, link building and referral tracking, the conference was praised highly by the attendees. It also demonstrated the growing importance of the entire search engine marketing industry, while emphasizing the experience and knowledge required for success. The ability to network with other SEO professionals, while hearing from many of the “founders” of search engine optimization, was invaluable. While the conference confirmed the strategy and techniques that Beacon employs for its customers, the Beacon Team brought back several new methods and tools to further enhance results. Beacon’s SEO Team is excited to integrate these into its 2005 search engine marketing strategy.
