Beacon Technologies gives winning IT edge to Post-Up Marketing

Like fax numbers and email addresses before them, web site addresses have quickly become another required, and expected, element for all successful businesses today. The idea behind The Winning Edge is similar to ankle weights that athletes use to increase their stamina, strength and agility during training. The weighted insoles are placed inside the athletic shoes and the athlete uses them during practice, training or routine drills. Weekend warriors such as fitness walkers, joggers, tennis players, and others experience the same kind of added stamina and leg strength during competitive situations.

“When the athlete is in competition, the insoles are removed and the athlete has what is known in basketball circles as ‘the hops,’ which is an expression meaning extra vertical lift or jump,” said James McDougald, Vice President of Marketing for Post-Up and former star football player for Wake Forest University.
