Web Designer / Web Developer
If you are a Web Developer / Designer with strong coding skills, have experience in developing the user interface for websites and you live in the Greensboro, NC area or are within commuting distance, then please read on! Beacon Technologies is always seeking good Web Designers and Web Developers to join the Beacon Team. They will be part of a team responsible for the development of user interfaces for various web applications and for informational websites. The web application implementations are often created within a CMS and may include Flash components and WordPress blogs.
What you need:
- 2-3 years of web development experience specializing in interface technologies
- Ability to hand-code HTML, XHTML, CSS, DHTML, XML/XSL
- Experience developing with JavaScript, Ajax, Flash and ActionScript
- Familiarity with cross-browser/cross-platform issues
- Familiarity with XML and associated technologies
- Working knowledge of computer graphic software including: Adobe Photoshop and Abode Illustrator
- Knowledge of Wordpress a plus
- Knowledge of Cascade Server or other Content Management System a plus
- Ability to work independently, communicate effectively with teammates and clients, and manage time to meet project timeline.
