Beacon participated in the United Way of Greater Greensboro’s Week of Caring event by volunteering at Hospice and Palliative Care of Greensboro. Members of the sales team helped beautify the campus at Hospice and Palliative Care of Greensboro for clients and families to enjoy together. Activities included wiping down furniture and sweeping patios and porches.
While there Jane Gibson shared the awesome things Hospice and Palliative Care of Greensboro are doing to improve the quality of life for Triad families facing the challenges of advanced illness. Thousands of families are receiving consultation, education, financial support and medical care from this amazing community resource. Jane gave an extended background on the KidsPath program which is doing great things for children who are coping with illness and loss. KidsPath provides a warm, welcoming environment for kids to share their emotions and find comfort. They have several programs and activities in place in order to do this and we were honored to provide them and Hospice and Palliative Care with a little bit of help towards their pursuit of a great mission.
