Day 2 at IR Focus in Orlando

Est. Reading Time: 2 minute

Tuesday was a big day at IR Focus.  Not only was it 75 degrees and sunny, but it was filled with wall-to-wall sessions on web design and ecommerce from some of the experts in the field as well as from leaders of companies that are doing it right.  From streamlining the checkout process to quick fixes to starting over from scratch to refining responsive design what Google says marketers need to know about mobile, there was a lot of valuable information to digest.

The Beacon booth was open all day and we had a steady stream of conversations with all kinds of business representatives and partners.  As I said in yesterday’s post, everyone is trying to figure out how to get more out of their digital initiatives – which is primarily driven by better analytics data.  Of course everyone is also looking for the “next new thing” that will give them an edge on their competitors – or help them to keep up!  Brad Henry, Beacon’s Director of Digital Marketing, was in demand at the booth as people wanted to get his take on all aspects of digital marketing and especially, analytics.  Rick Boccard, Beacon’s Director of Sales, was in prime form too, discussing people’s web objectives (and pains)… then providing answers and options of how Beacon can assist with web design, web development and/or digital marketing.  It was a very good (busy) day!

Another great list of speakers are on tap today from companies like, Zappos, Staples, Rue La La and Sam’s Club
