Engaging Users in Social Media

Almost every site uses some type of social media to help their brand awareness and what they are trying to achieve with a large audience. The most popular social media sites like Facebook, Google+, Twitter, Pinterest, LinkedIn and YouTube can help boost your ranking and audience if integrated properly. One way to achieve engagement of these is how you place them on your site or promote them. For instance you could have them in the header or footer, use different colors, large or small icons.

Maybe you have a website with a news section or special promotion. You can promote it with social media logos and links that interact with that information. Making it prominent and not just another link on the page helps with that, so that it becomes the focus of a particular page or pages.

Other ways are adding in social media widgets to show the latest feeds and site announcements right there on the page, making it even easier for the audience to get the important information they need and help draw them in.
