Beacon’s Contribution to United Way’s MeaningFULL Meals Shortage

The United Way of Greater Greensboro desperately needed help with their 2012 MeaningFULL Meals program, which is a summertime project helping to feed hungry kids in the community.  As a part of this project and in support of our community, the Beacon Team came together last week to collect enough food to feed 2 families for a week.  Mark, John and Sheryl dropped off a couple of carts full of food to the Gillespie Park Elementary School, which handles the distribution of the food.  Thanks to the entire team for responding so quickly to help families right here in the Greensboro area.
